Your doctor will be able to help you about this, and you should think about using other contraceptives. * Hormone Replacement Therapy . Tegretol could make HRT much less effective. * Any medicines for anxiety or despair. * Corticosteroids . You might be taking these for inflammatory circumstances such as asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, joint and muscle pains. * Anticoagulants to stop your blood clotting. * Antibiotics to treat infections including skin infections and TB .Lead researcher Geoff Der says the question has been debated since a link between high IQ and breastfeeding was first recommended in 1929. But Der says, though breastfed children do tend to score higher on intelligence testing, they also have a tendency to come from even more advantaged backgrounds. The researchers also viewed families where one child was breastfed and another had not been and this confirmed the earlier results as the breastfed child was no more intelligent than their sibling. Breastfed babies have been been shown to be less susceptible to diarrhoea, vomiting, and respiratory attacks and just one day of breastfeeding can be thought to be more than enough to stabilise a baby’s blood sugar levels, and provide organic antibodies against disease.
